For my first PPD project I have been given the task of designing in conjuntion with poetry. At first glance I was a little unsure as to how I would best approach this project and was uncertain about what was expected in terms of final delivery. However, after having a more detailed and thorough look at the Poet in hand, William Allingham and some of his work things became much clearer.
In order to make the most of this project Ive decided to attempt it through a combination of Illustrations and Photography. After a quick browse through all of William's poems a select few caught my eye immediately. As I then continued narrowed them down I was left with three potential contender's, them being " On a Forenoon Of Spring" and " A Seed" and "The Writing". Subsequently I decided to go with the poem "A Seed" as it has a broader platform to work from in regards to it being very open and I feel that I could portray Willaim Allingham's work much more effectively through this particular poem.
